GREEN GIRLS TRAININGS (GGT)

The Green Girls Training program consist of training women and girls in African rural communities on how to generate energy from the sun (solar energy) and waste (biogas) using a unique scoring model (MNKB92).

The trainings involve 2 phases: The practical phase that consist of actual hands on installations tutorials on the construction and maintainance of bio digesters and solar panels which later on produce clean cooking gas and electricity and also how to assemble quality portable solar lanterns.

The second phase of the training involves the theory part where the girls and women are taught and introduced to the SDG’S (Sustainable Development Goals) with primary focus on the SDG’S that the Green Girls Organisation advocates for, how to properly dispose of waste, the various kinds of renewable energy, solar technologies, quality solar products, role plays carried out in the school and community settings that will engage interactive sessions amongst the female students.

Capacity building workshops are also carried out to train the rural women on how to create and run SME’S, package and sell organic fertilizer, organic crops and assembled solar lanterns.

GREEN GIRLS CLUBS (GGC)

Every school that undertakes the Green Girls Training has a Green Girls Club set up which permits the girls who take part in the Green Girls Training to act as peer educators and multiplicators.

These Green Girls Clubs has posters and equipment that will permit the Green Girls Organisation carry out effective post evaluation to know the areas and field of renewable energy that the girls find interest in.

GREEN WOMEN EMPOWERNMENT PROGRAM (GWEP)

Aimed at providing rural women with the necessary skills that do not produce any kind of carbon foot print like packaging of organic manure, farming and assembling of solar lanterns.

The Green Women Empowerment Program targets the illiterate rural women who never went to school. These women will learn how to enhance the soil’s fertility with organic manure, farm for organic crops and sell all of these through the selling channels created by the Green Girls Organisation.
